REMEMBER ROOT AT YOUR OWN RISK
Requirements:
-Make sure you have a good charge on your phone. I suggest starting with a full charge.
-From the home screen of your phone press Menu > Settings > Applications > check mark "unknown sources". This will allow you to install Z4Root without an error.
-From the home screen of your phone press Menu > Settings > Applications > Development > check mark "USB debugging". This is necessary for Z4Root to work.
-You need to go to the market and download Astro File Manager (free)
-You need to download Android Terminal Emulator (free)

If you have problems with the recovery file follow these instructions
the recovery-RA-GNM-OPT-T-test.img.zip won't be available. I used recovery-RA-GNM-thunderg-1.1.0.img from this link recovery-RA-GNM-thunderg-1.1.0.img
Just be sure when you are typing in commands for step #2 that you change recovery-RA-GNM-OPT-T-test.img to match the file you downloaded instead (recovery-RA-GNM-thunderg-1.1.0.img). Other than that it should be smooth sailing.

Rooting On HTC Sensation, Incredible and More With HTC Super Tool v3
Now you can root, S-off and unlock the bootloader of almost any HTC device like HTC Sensation, Evo Design 4g, Evo 4g, Evo 3d, Evo Shift, G2, MT3Gs, MT4G, MT4Gs, Inspire, Sensation, Incredible, Wildfire S and Amaze with the help of the application called HTC SUPER TOOL V3 created by FRIGID of XDA Developers Forum. Frigid said that it should also work on any HTC devices because they all have similar architecture.
Just follow this instructions below on how to Root, S-off and Unlock the bootloader of your HTC device.
Note:
- Make sure that your device battery is charge atleast 60%
- Backup your phone data into your computer.
- Turn on USB Debugging, on your homescreen tap Menu> Settings> Application> Development. Then, make sure that USB debugging is checked.
Requirements:- HTC Phone
- Computer
- USB Data Cable
- First, download and install HTC DRIVER.
- Then, Download Super tool v3.
Next, extract it to a new folder via Winzip/Winrar.
- After that connect your phone to the computer using your USB Data Cable.
- Go to the extracted files and doucle click SUPER TOOL to run the program.
- Next, you will see a menu, choose any procedure you want like rooting, unlock bootloader, attempt S-Off etc.
- Congratulation you have now Root, unlock bootloader and S-Off your HTC device.

Thanks to XDA Developers forum member legion1911, it’s now possible to flash ClockworkMod Recovery to the Galaxy R via Odin, and to root the Galaxy R by flashing Superuser from Recovery Mode. The process is quite easy, even for users who are completely new to tinkering with their Android devices. “Rooting,” “getting root,” or “rooting your phone” is the process of modifying the operating system shipped with your device to grant you, the user, even for users who are completely new to tinkering with their Android devices.
“Rooting,” “getting root,” or “rooting your phone” is the process of modifying the operating system shipped with your device to grant you, the user, complete control over it. This means that you can overcome limitations that carriers and manufacturers put on your device, extend system functionality and even upgrade it to a custom flavor of Android.
Rooting takes only a few minutes, keeping your stock OS intact. After the process is completed, you can start installing custom ROMs and fully enjoying the functionality of your device.

Before you begin, you’ll need a few things:- Samsung USB Drivers installed. You can download the USB drivers for 32-bit Windows or 64-bit Windows.
- ODIN downloaded and installed on your computer.
- Download the ClockWorkMod Recovery (4.0.0.2) package to your computer.
- Download the Superuser zip file to your computer.
- Make sure that your device has a charge of at least 70% to prevent it from shutting off in the middle of the rooting process.
Rooting the Samsung Galaxy R
Once you have all of the requirements, you may now proceed to the rooting process.- Extract the contents of the ClockworkMod Recovery package into a folder on your computer. You will find two files: cwm.apk and cwm.tar.
- Copy the Superuser ZIP file to the root of your phone’s SD card.
- Launch Odin on your computer.
- Under “Options” in Odin, make sure that “Repartition” isstyle=”text-decoration: underline;”>notchecked.
- Click on the PDA button in Odin.
- Choose the cwm.tar file which you extracted from the ClockworkMod package.
- Turn off your phone.
- Reboot it into download mode by holding down the Volume Down and Home buttons together, then pressing the Power button.
- Once the phone is in download mode, connect your phone to your computer via the USB Cable. You should see the device connected to Odin and the ID:COM field will turn yellow, indicating that the device has been recognized.
- Hit the Start button in Odin. The software will flash the recovery image and your phone will reboot.
- Unplug your phone from the computer.
- Turn off the phone and reboot into recovery. You can do this by holding down the Volume Up and the Home buttons as you turn the phone on. Let go of the Power button once you see the boot splash screen.
- Once you’re inside recovery mode, make a Nandroid backup of your phone.
- Then, navigate to “Install Zip from SD Card” and select “Choose zip from SD card”.
- Select the Superuser zip that you copied to the phone earlier.
- Once the file is flashed, reboot your device.
